Delivery is made using our own vehicles and workforce.

We are happy to deliver your fuel and put it away for you e.g. in your shed, round the back of your house. If required please leave instructions. (this is only for bags of smokeless fuels and small bags of firewood, half and full loads of firewood will be tipped on your driveway)

Delivery will be made within 7 working days often sooner.

We will contact you by phone or email to arrange the delivery.

ANY LOOSE fuel ordered is tipped out loose into a coal bunker or coal shed NOT left in the bags

If you require your fuel tipped out of the bags and delivered loose into a coal bunker or shed please specify.

If you have ordered Firewood to be delivered and left in the 1.2 cubic metre bulk bag your drive needs to be flat, level and smooth (ideally tarmac, concrete or paved) bags cannot be delivered onto gravel driveways or grassed areas. Bulk bags are delivered using a tail lift and pump truck and CANNOT be lifted over anything e.g. hedges, walls.

We will accept returned goods within 7 days of delivery that are in undamaged, unopened & unused condition. All goods must be returned to our premises. We accept no responsibility for your costs of returning the goods.

You must not buy non-smokeless fuel e.g. house coal to be burnt in a smoke control area e.g city centres (check with local your authority). Unless it is to be burnt on a DEFRA exempt appliance.

We offer free delivery of all of our products on this website to postcodes starting with:  OX25, OX27, OX26, OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX44, OX5, OX7, OX9, OX39, OX49, OX28, OX29, OX20, OX15, OX16, OX17, OX33, HP18, HP19, MK18, NN11 3, NN12 8, NN13, HP22, HP20, HP21, HP14 3, HP17.

All gas cylinders that we sell are exchanged on a 1 for 1 basis, therefore please contact us to place your order if you do not not have a flogas cylinder to exchange.

Please note that any LPG cylinders purchased from our company become the sole responsibility of the customer once in their possession. It is the customers responsibility to ensure safe storage and usage of the gas. Please ensure all gas cylinders are stored and used in a well ventilated area, away from any source of ignition. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure the cylinder is placed in a safe position before turning on and using.

Nationwide Fuel Delivery Terms & conditions

We usually dispatch orders the same or next day & you should receive delivery within 3-4 working days of dispatch.

A daytime contact phone number is required to organise any delivery.

Delivery is made by a lorry with tail lift. The pallet is transported on a pump pallet truck from the roadside to your driveway entrance. Due to the weight of the pallet they cannot be moved on gravel drives etc. Only on hard firm, level surfaces.

If you have a shingle or grass driveway the pallet will be left at the front of that driveway.

The driver is not responsible for handling the bags so please ensure that you have the labour available to do so. However they will usually make every effort to get the pallet where you want it, within reason

If you can only be reached by sharp bends, narrow driveways etc. you must inform us when ordering, as alternative arrangements may need to be made.

The pallet / crate is non returnable.

We contract the delivery out to a pallet delivery company and are not liable for any damage caused by this company.

If a delivery is attempted and failed (due to either there not being somewhere suitable to leave the pallet, or no authorization given to leave the pallet) then you will be 100% liable to any costs that will occur with re-delivery.

We reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not meet these terms and conditions.

A.E.PRENTICE do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
